A series of wall objects inspired by the quiet act of folding A4 paper.
What begins as a blank sheet transforms through repeated folding into unexpected graphic structures. Each piece is formed from ceramic, rolled out to 5mm thin and folded as if it were paper. The gesture remains soft and intuitive, while the material shifts into something permanent.
Writings marks a symbolic transition from graphic design to ceramics. Quiet, minimal, and expressive in their simplicity.
Each work can stand alone, or exist as part of a composition.
Material
Hand-built beige stoneware and transparent glaze
Central mounting hole at the back
Variation is part of the design
All ceramic objects are handmade from natural materials. Variations in colour, shape and surface are inherent to the process and make each piece unique. Images shown are representative; individual pieces may vary slightly in form and dimensions or in this case: the exact crack or fold.
